Fabric Indulgence & Art Supply opened in February 2000 as a 500 square foot store carrying mostly fabrics and a few textile art supplies. Over the years we have blossomed, becoming a international retailer of fabrics from around the world selling both locally in Mendocino County as well as online to global customers.
We specialize in fair trade and organic fabrics, novelty quilting fabrics and natural fiber fabrics.
In addition to our wonderful array of textiles we also carry everything you need to paint and dye on fabrics. Fabric Indulgence & Art Supply has a full range of fabric paints, dyes, silkscreening and silk painting supplies. We also have mediums, chemicals and fabric painting tools for any textile art technique. Pearl-Ex pigments are a hit that go well with any kind of media. Don't forget to check out our fabric pens, Tee juice markers from Jacquard. From silk painting to fiber reactive dyes we are a source for fiber artists everywhere.
Blending textiles and textile arts is our goal. Using the best of both worlds we create original lasting artwork. Creating a sustainable economy and selling safe products is a top priority.
Art quilters love our store because of our unique appproach to fabrics, combining 1000's of cotton prints, velvets , upholstery fabrics and a wide selection of different silks. We're proud of our selection of Hemp fabrics and Organic cotton fabrics, fair trade African and Indonesian batik fabrics and hard to find fabrics that people appreciate. Our silk selection is always growing. We have silk dupioni, shantung, brocades, silk chiffons, silk habotai and velvets. We're happy to offer hand dyed silk ribbons and a large collection of home decorating trims, ribbons and embellishments, including gorgeous bias cut silk dupioni ribbons from Midori Ribbons.
To complement our onderful selection of fabrics, we also have classic Folkwear patterns and the stylish Amy Butler line of clothing and home decorating patterns.
