These Authentic African fabrics are fair trade from Ghana. Batiked and dyed in small communities in Ghana . Artisans create their own designs, often influenced by tribal motifs, then hand dye each piece of fabric, taking care with each color. The fabrics are 100% cotton. Vibrant colors, already heat set for permanance. These fabrics are one of a kind. Fabrics are created as small pieces, often between 2 and 4 yards. These African fabrics are heavy cotton broadcloth that are vibrant and beautiful. The waxprint fabrics are manufactured in Ghana. These peices are larger cuts often 12 yards and beautiful tradition designs. 100% cotton with a slight sheen. Versatile, rich colors and fun prints.
